ARTIST BIO
The Andrea Studio is leaded by the sculptor Fernando Andrea, born in Madrid (Spain) in 1961.
He created his first sculpture when he was sixteen years old following the steps of his eldest brother with whom he shared a passion for art.
Fernando started young in the world of the arts working and studying in several workshops.
As a master artist at the Andrea Studio, which he started with his brother in 1983. He has been involved in many sculpting projects working along many famous sculptors such as Sergio Blanco, Juan Muñoz, Eva Riquelme, etc.
His artwork has been deeply influenced by his love for history and many years of reading and research developing an obsession for accuracy and details achieved through long and painstaking sculpting sessions. His pieces are designed to bring the viewer “inside” and “around” the piece, stressing in psychological and atmospherics aspects able to provoke a subtle but deep emotional response.
His portrait of G.A. Custer has been highly praised among American collectors.
